We, the members of MITA, are convinced that Microsoft has won the battle for the Internet technologies. So if you are on our side then read right on. But, if you're not, then, I'm afraid there's nothing we have that could possibly interest you here.
We have enough on our plate at the moment with all this stuff Microsoft seems to be oozing out. If they, with their thousand programmers, can't take a holiday, then there is absolutely no way , we, small small programmers of the world, who thrive on anyt hing that's new, can afford a good nights sleep. The point we're trying to make is we have no time for anyone who disagrees with us. So, if you're someone sitting out there who thinks we're wrong,, all we can say is tough !!!
Anyway, let's get on with it. If you're in Bombay, India - we, the members of MITA meet every last Saturday of the month over drinks and dinner. To be a member, all you have to do is give in a written application saying that you too believe that "Microso ft has won the battle for the Internet technologies" and nothing stops you from joining us. It's that simple !!! Don't forget to add your postal address or your E-Mail address in your application.
You probably are wondering what all these meetings are about ? At these meetings we discuss technologies as in , in writing programmes, or even the implication of technologies., for example Microsoft Net Meeting is the next best thing since sliced bread not to mention chocolate cake. This little miracle is about to change a lot of lives, a topic which is definitely open for discussion.
For all those people who can't meet due to distant problems, it's not the end of the world. Microsoft has given us a solution i.e. thanks to Net Meeting we are planning to start a 24 hour MITA on the net. Do you know what that means ??? Just read on, and you'll soon find out.
What would you say to having a MITA in your very own city ??? Well, you don't need our permission. By all means go ahead. We'll be right behind you, and will link you, while you link us. What MITA does - everybody decides. You could use it as a forum to m eet people who think like you do, or as a means to find or get work done. It's all up to you. Just understand, as long as your for it, we're not stopping you.
We're not here to debate that Mac OS was far better than Windows 95. Nor are we here to say that DOS , Windows3.1, Windows95 is or was the best software ever written. But, Microsoft has come out with the Internet technologies which seems to have no pier.
But, why are we doing this ??? Our goal is to demonstrate how easy it is to use Microsoft's latest technologies. And, today we can write software that were not imagined even three months ago. Sitting here, we do have our reasons for such strong co
nceptions .Take for instance Microsoft Net Meeting , a user in one corner of the world, may like to know how Internet Explorer supports the OLE 2.0. You , in another corner of the world can explain to him with your own voice, live, on the Internet, and yo
u can use the chat room and better still take him to the WhiteBoard, write a program and actually draw diagrams to explain it to him and you could show him how to load Visual C++ and and and . . . . . you could go on and on and on.
Our ultimate aim is that every citizen should be a member of MITA, and the last Saturday of every month
should be reserved for this purpose only, irrespective of the fact where in the world you are.
The only criteria is that, if you are really interested in being a member, you must submit an application which states-:
"I BELIEVE THAT MICROSOFT HAS WON THE BATTLE OF INTERNET TECHNOLOGIES"
Without this even MR. BILL GATES himself would not be invited to our meetings. Unless ofcourse he too believes that Microsoft has won.
